The DMT offers theater classes and camps for young performers to explore the world of live theater through music, movement, and acting.


Young Performers Workshop (Summer session only)

This is a two-week camp for young performers ages 11 through 15. The camp offers performers a chance to hone their theater skills while putting on a short musical theater performance for family and friends.

CVDAA Summer Theater Training (Summer session only)

Recommended for beginners, this academy-style program offers students the opportunity to participate in classes in acting, improvisation, movement, and voice for the actor as well as attend lecture demonstrations provided by professionals in the area. This is an intensive workshop with the expectation that students are interested in participating in fun, but demanding, theatrical training, and developing their skills.  For more information about Castro Valley Dramatic Arts Academy, visit www.cvdaa.org.

Stage Kids (Summer Session only)

Theater campers will explore the world of live theater through music, movement, and acting. The focus is on creative expression, imagination, respect for the art, and acquiring and perfecting performance skills.

CVDAA Summer Theater Spectacular I (Summer session only)

Summer Drama Camp (Summer session only) 

The Theater Factory offers a fun drama class encompassing music, dance, mask-making and acting! We specialize in improving leadership, social, and communication skills by using theater games and improvisation. The outcome of the camp will be a play staged for parents. Limited space available. New production for repeating students!
