Are you looking for a memorable gift
for that special someone?
A gift where you don't have to worry
about size or color, whether it's this week's style, whether it's in
stock and will arrive on time (or even end up at a neighbor's house) --
and that doesn't need batteries, cables, a new operating system, or a
twenty-page assembly or instruction manual? A gift that you know will
work right the first time?
Consider the gift of live
entertainment: an enjoyable experience that will last anywhere from two
hours to a whole year. Our 2011 Season is full of fun, exciting,
thought-provoking -- and very entertaining -- shows, including
comedies, dramas, and musicals, along with three chorus concerts.
Whether you give one ticket to one
show, or a pair of tickets, or a season subscription, you can be sure
your gift will be appreciated and enjoyed. Couple the theatre ticket
with a gift certificate to a local restaurant, and you will give that
special someone a very memorable afternoon or evening.
Gift tickets are also a great way to
introduce young people to live theatre, whether it's a play they're
studying in school or the stage version of a favorite movie. Our 2011
Season, for example, opens with the classic comedy Private
Lives and continues with Rodgers & Hart: A
Celebration, then Frost/Nixon, and ends with the show that
kicked off the Morrisson Theatre (then known as the Little Theatre) in
1979, the all-time favorite The King & I.
We feel so strongly about introducing
young people to live theatre that we are currently developing a program
to help teachers make some of these stories come alive for their
students. The program will include watching the show, touring the
theatre, and discussions with the director and the cast. We'll have
this program in place over the next few months and will announce it
here on our Web site.
We can provide gift tickets for any
show or combination of shows. Just give us a call at (510) 881-6777 and
we'll be happy to discuss the options.
