Noel Cowards terribly
witty comedy for terribly sophisticated people.
The 2011 Season opens with Noel Cowards masterpiece
of marital mayhem. Elyot and Amanda, once married and now
honeymooning with new spouses at the same hotel, meet by chance,
reignite the old spark and impulsively elope. After days of
being reunited, they again find their fiery romance alternating
between passions of love and anger. Their aggrieved spouses
appear and a roundelay of affiliations ensues as the women
first stick together, then wander apart, and new partnerships
are formed.

Music
by Richard Rodgers
Lyrics by Lorenz Hart
Concept by Richard Lewine and John Fearnley
From their first hit song in
1925 through their final show-stopper in 1943, the prolific
team of Rodgers & Hart was continually redefining the
musical theatre with its wit, freshness and intelligence.
In this rousing pastiche, the first act sets the stage for
romance while the second act is comprised of their more
satiric gems. The brief narration highlights the Rodgers
& Hart story, but its the songs that explain their
success. Perhaps Irving Berlin summed it up best: Tuneful
and tasty, schmaltzy and smart-music by Rodgers, lyrics
by Hart.

September 2 to 25, 2011
British talk-show host David Frost
has become a lowbrow laughing-stock. Richard M. Nixon has
just resigned the United States presidency in disgrace over
Vietnam and the Watergate scandal. Determined to resurrect
his career, Frost risks everything on a series of interviews
in order to extract an apology from Nixon. The cagey Nixon,
however, is equally bent on redeeming himself in his nations
eyes. In the television age, both men are desperate to upstage
each other. The result is the interview that sealed a presidents
legacy.

most requested musicals by our audiencesmakes for a

Palace in Siam, where she is to serve as tutor to the Kings
many children and wives. While keeping a firm grip on their
traditions and values, Anna and the King grow to understand
and, eventually, respect one another in a unique love story.
